It's luxurious, sexy and seductive. Back in the day, if you wore velvet it showed your wealth, and something makes me think that this is still the way...on a much smaller scale. In these hard times a little velvet makes us feel like royalty. It helps us forget the recession, put on our heels and have a little fun.

P.S I don't care what people say, you can mix velvet and suede. Accessorize with suede by all means...but not in the same colour or shade.
